Repin Eraser
A kneaded eraser is a type of drawing tool made entirely from special paper that has been rolled and compressed into the shape of a paper pencil. Its function is to evenly distribute the graphite particles from a pencil, drawing charcoal, or drawing soot. When we want to selectively erase the darkness of a pencil, charcoal, or soot on paper and create new shades, we use a eraser. Erasers are typically available in different thicknesses.
Essentially, an eraser is a pencil or drawing tool designed for black-and-white drawing, pastel, and other similar media. This product is ideal for designers and artists who want to selectively erase the direct marks of a pencil, charcoal, or any other erasable drawing medium on paper, and to create appropriate space between the elements of a design. By absorbing the graphite from a pencil or charcoal, the eraser transforms into a drawing tool with its own distinctive effect.
Kamran Erasers. The Kamran Design Eraser, twelve pieces per pack, comes in new packaging and has been part of Kamran's art product line for over fifteen years. There are thirty packs of twelve per carton. The Repin Professional Eraser, made from thick, special, high-quality paper, is suitable for artists working in pen-and-ink and charcoal, and it comes in a carton of twenty-four packs of six. The Repin eraser functions similarly to the Kamran eraser, but it is thicker and is one of the thickest types of erasers available on the market. The Kamran eraser is solid and is used for erasing and fading graphite, conte, and similar materials.
How to use and apply. After drawing, or while drawing with a colored pencil, conte crayon, or any type of pencil and pastel, when you want to create a soft effect of shading or dark areas, use the tip or side of the eraser, depending on the type of line. By absorbing the graphite from a pencil or charcoal, the eraser becomes a drawing tool with its own special effect. To sharpen the eraser again, you can use a sharp blade or coarse sandpaper.
The type of paper suitable for drawing and using an eraser. Professional artists typically use their own specialized paper. However, for students, any paper with a rough, matte texture is suitable for pencil and eraser work. Conversely, thin, glossy papers will have an adverse effect on drawing and erasing.
